WISSA 2017 is getting closer!

Winter is the time of peace for the trees and hibernation of bears, but for children of wind it’s the time of crazy activity!

The hottest event of this winter is coming! For the second time in the history of the official World Championships of sailing winter sports, WISSA takes place in Russia (# Togliatti) and for the second consecutive time it’s on the same continent! In addition, we want that these competitions go in history as the most entertaining and memorable for athletes and fans.

WISSA-2017 will be held from 20th to 26th of February in the waters of the Kuibyshev Reservoir (river Volga) in the city of Togliatti. Competitions will be in the winter windsurfing classes, wings, snow kiting skis and snowboards, and, much anticipated, snowkiting freestyle skis and snowboards. All freestyle program organizers are planning to hold on to the relief near the villages Gubino, Rakovka, Chubovka, Klimovka. Along with the competitive part we will do all we can to serve our hospitality to our visitors (transfer to the spot, safety, etc.) for amateurs and fans within the freestyle camp. We already have a sufficient number of applications for all classes, and we continue receiving them. By the way, the first foreign participant also showed up among the freestylers.

Organizers of WISSA-2017 also arranged special conditions in the hotel AMAKS (Yubileinaya). Therefore, to get this huge discount, you need to sent an application for accommodation, through the coordinator or the organizing committee. However, you don’t have to spend a lot of time in the hotel. In addition to rich sports program there will be evening entertainment. In one of the cafes / bars / clubs in the city (final places will be determined) we will organize a disco with MC and cool DJ. Also you can watch all photo and video material of the event. And while we are working on different organizational matters, nature has just begun to work on the creation of a strong and smooth ice pack with most interesting.
