Performance tuning by professional trimming
Over time, trimming your VMG³ is inevitable so you can continue enjoying your racing kite’s full potential. To get your kite back on track, we offer a Trim Guide to help you trim your kite professionally. You will achieve the best result with the proper sequence and correct measurement of the lines.
The first step is to check the control bar setup. To do this, open the adjuster and apply full power to the control bar. Then, check the line lengths of all flying lines under a 5kg load. If there are differences, we recommend equalizing the front and back lines.
The next step ideally requires a laser measuring device with Bluetooth or, alternatively, a tape measure. The Trim Guide describes how to measure the VMG³ lines correctly.
Your checklist for correct use:
- Prepare line plan (see below)
- Read Instructions
- Select the check length of the respective size
- Enter measurement data
- The displayed difference results in the trim knot
- Read trim knots instruction
- Set trim knots
- Fly the kite
