Features
Forward-Swept Outline
The swept-forward wing design improves maneuverability by facilitating control and increasing agility. It supports reactivity and improves roll and lateral stability. The more forward mass and lightweight wingtips increase acceleration and playfulness and improve top-end control.
TAO SH Non-Slip Handles
The curved strut allows for an ergonomic hold of the handles to position the wrist neutrally to the arm. The non-slip handles have deep ribs and are oval-shaped, providing a comfortable, secure grip. Preventing the wing from slipping out of the user’s hands improves control and enables precise steering. Both features help reduce fatigue, which increases water time, allowing users to enjoy extended sessions without discomfort.
Advanced Tip-Flex
Advanced tip-flex causes controlled flexibility or bending in the wingtips. This concept enhances performance and improves the wing’s efficiency, especially during high-speed runs and maneuvering. By allowing controlled flexibility, the wingtips can absorb and dampen some dynamic forces and gust loads encountered during the session.
TAO RH Carbon Handles
Gain ultimate control with the ergonomic Carbon Handles. Covered by a non-slip EVA grip and tailored to the hand’s natural curvature, they provide a secure and comfortable hold. Guide the wing with incredible precision and receive continuous feedback to utilize every gust efficiently. Available in four sizes and perfectly fitted to the respective wing shape, the length of the Carbon Handles ranges from 240 mm to 520 mm.
Range of use TAO Soft Handles
The TAO SH’s exceptionally free-fly performance gives every surfer access to carve their best turns. Freeriders can always rely on its forgivingness, it lies firmly and calmly in gusty conditions in their hands. The TAO SH is better suited for beginners or safety-conscious riders.
Wave
From big wave wingers to river wave cruisers, we’ve pushed every area to make the handling intuitive and playful. Pull tight, radical turns, or let the TAO float freely behind you, experiencing ease and ultimate freedom. Become one with the TAO.
Freeride
Have you always wished you could glide over the water for hours without thinking? Let the dynamics of a high-performance product guide you with ease. Convince yourself of the ergonomic, lightweight construction, which enriches your wing experience with comfort and user-friendliness from the first touch. Benefit from constant feedback from the pressure point to nail your takeoffs perfectly. Control the angle of attack precisely and maximize your hangtime! Choose the TAO RH to push technical freestyle tricks, score the highest jumps, or ride most efficiently.

Can I use a harness with the TAO?
The strut features attachment points to link the rider to the trapezoid with a harness line/rope. The harness line/rope can be hooked to the harness to ride the wing with less effort. Recommended for advanced riders.
How do I speed up the drying of my wing?
Do I have to rinse the wing with clear water after every use?
Rinse your wing from time to time with clear water, after using it in saltwater, and leave it to dry in the shade. Do not use any detergents. Detergent use on the cloth voids the warranty.
