Technical Features
Cord Cut Billow
The CCB Cut is an advanced design feature aimed at optimizing airflow along the leading edge of our Foil Kites. Through strategically placed, precise “billows” – targeted cuts along the chord line – the profile is modified to ensure smoother and more stable airflow. This reduces turbulence, compensates for surface irregularities, and minimizes drag. It optimizes sail curvature for maximum profile fidelity and enhances aerodynamic efficiency. The result: higher stability, better power delivery, and more precise control under high loads.
Aero-Balance Construction
The Aero-Balance construction combines a high aspect ratio with a finely tuned cell architecture, ensuring maximum performance while maintaining intuitive control. The profile fills quickly and evenly across the entire span – particularly important for launches in strong winds or challenging conditions. Increased user-friendliness, faster response to steering inputs, simplified handling during jumps and loops.
Air intake line
Lines have been stretched spanwise across all air inlets to ensure optimal airflow to the leading edge. The air inlet lines hold the rigid foils on the nose in position and prevent the inlets from deforming. The kite fills quickly with air. You get control over the entire wingspan sooner when launching the Foil Kite. The kite also flies further to the edge of the wind window when overpowered; the leading edge dents later, and the depower works more efficiently.
FlowArc Wingtip
The FlowArc Wingtip optimizes airflow over the wing tips and improves flight behavior in loops and during recovery. Through its curved shape and targeted profiling, it generates additional lift, delays flow separation, and enables particularly smooth and precise control. Every loop becomes more controlled, intuitive, and safer. Whether landing or downlooping – the FlowArc Wingtip supports the SONIC characteristics: powerful yet predictable.

Twintip
The wind range chart is to be used as a point of reference. It is based on a rider who weighs around 75kg (165lbs.) Actual use will vary depending on your weight, skill level, board size/type (twintip or hydrofoil) and wind conditions on water or land. When choosing a kite size, always use common sense and repeatedly choose a smaller size if you are not sure, especially when using the kite on land.
