Hey, I am Valentin Bontus, 23 years old from Austria. I am kitesurfing for 15 years and it is the best thing that ever happened to me. Throughout my career I’ve been through all the different disciplines from Big Air and Freestyle to Kitefoil Racing. I switched to Formula Kite Racing in 2021 due to different factors including an injury. It’s probably the best decision I have ever made as I will be participating at the Olympic Games in Paris 2024. Being part of the FLYSURFER Team means a lot to me! The FLYSURFER Team and everyone behind the scenes are just a perfect fit for me as an athlete but also on an human side of things. I just feel very much at home! I can’t wait for what the future holds and I am thrilled to have FLYSURFER supporting me to reach my goals.
