Kenan Azzam

I am Kenan Azzam, originally from Syria, raised on the enchanting island of Curacao, and now proudly calling the Netherlands my home. It was here, six years ago, that I embarked on my thrilling kiteboarding journey. When I first started kiteboarding, I never imagined I’d reach the level I’m at now. But it’s shown me that with passion and determination, anything is possible. Kiteboarding isn’t just a sport to me; it’s a whole new way of seeing the world. It’s brought me closer to amazing people from across the globe who share my passion both on and off the water. What started as a curious journey during my Chemical Engineering studies has turned into a full-blown obsession with sport and the science behind it. I’m constantly fascinated by the mechanics of the equipment and the physics behind those jaw-dropping big air tricks. But it’s not all about the technical stuff. The thrill of experimenting with nature’s forces, pushing boundaries, and sharing those unforgettable moments with friends is what keeps me going. I’ve taken on some international big air events (BAKL, Red Bull Winds of Sinai etc.), and got even more on the horizon. My main focus however, remains on social media.
