Technical Features
Hybrid Design
HYBRID² combines closed-cell ram air and single skin technology – 50% closed-cell foil, 50% ultra-light single skin. This smart design delivers the best of both worlds: the stability and clean aerodynamics of a closed-cell kite with the low weight and efficient depower of a single skin. A kite that launches easily, remains stable even in turbulent conditions, and offers exceptional drift for foiling, freeride, and wave riding. The hybrid build enhances longvity, minimizing wear and tear over time.
T-Frame Construction
The HYBRID² features T-Frame Construction, a robust design that enhances durability and longevity. This innovation reduces flapping, ensuring a controlled ride even in gusty conditions. The improved drainage system prevents water accumulation, making it perfect for water, land, and snow use. The integrated deflation valve in the air intake streamlines pack-down, allowing for quick and effortless storage on a boat.
Performance Features
Effortless Water Relaunch
Getting a kite back in the air after a crash has never been easier. The HYBRID² supports both reverse launch and one-line relaunch techniques, ensuring a quick and hassle-free recovery in any condition. Reverse launch allows for easy take-off in light winds, while the one-line method offers a fast relaunch in powered conditions. This dual-method approach ensures that riders of all levels can get back to riding with minimal effort, reducing frustration and maximizing time on the water.
Unmatched Stability
One of the standout features of the HYBRID² is its ability to park effortlessly at the edge of the wind window. Whether at the 3 or 9 o’clock position, the kite remains exceptionally stable, allowing riders to focus on themselves, board positioning, or simply resting without constant bar input. This is especially useful for beginners learning kite control, foilers looking for hands-free drift, and wave riders needing a predictable kite while surfing.
Reliable and efficient
The HYBRID² features a Cross Line Safety system that flags the kite out on a single front line. Due to its decreased wingspan, it has minimal pull and ensures maximum safety for beginners and confidence for advanced riders in all conditions. Its design prevents excessive tangling, allowing for an easy, quick-release reset and relaunch.
Performance Tuner
The Performance Tuner lets you fine-tune bar pressure and steering forces to match your riding style. You can choose whether you prefer a direct, reactive feel or a softer, forgiving response. By changing the setting, you influence the kite’s flying characterstics. This feature ensures intuitive, personalized feedback, regardless of skill level, to optimize handling for maximum comfort and performance.

Range of use
HYBRID Foiling
Pure joy for kite foiling! The HYBRID² is designed by true foilers. It excels in light wind and small waves. We have rigorously tested it with front wings ranging from 600 cm² to 2000 cm², and the results speak for themselves – exceptional drift, smooth power delivery, and effortless control. Cruising flat water or carving waves is bliss; the HYBRID² gets you riding in conditions where others struggle.

The wind range chart is to be used as a point of reference. It is based on a rider who weighs around 75kg (165lbs.) Actual use will vary depending on your weight, skill level, board size/type (twintip or hydrofoil) and wind conditions on water or land. When choosing a kite size, always use common sense and repeatedly choose a smaller size if you are not sure, especially when using the kite on land.
