Technical Features

Double-skin construction with open-cell leading edge

Pressure‑stable dual‑skin structure with an open intake for rapid inflation, aerodynamic efficiency and consistent profile integrity.

Straight Handle

Straight ergonomic handle enabling neutral power transfer, precise steering input and secure handling in variable wind conditions.

Pack‑and‑stow downwind system

The wing can be collapsed and compactly stowed mid‑ride, enabling drag‑free downwind foiling without interference.

Short bridle length across sizes

Optimized geometry and reduced overall bridle length for fast stow and redeploy. Consistent handling across all sizes simplifies transitions. Color coding makes setup intuitive and prevents mistakes in challenging environments.

The riding sensation

The ZAP stands for a dynamic, fast riding experience with high upwind efficiency and precise control at high speeds. It expands your freedom on the water by allowing longer, deliberate upwind runs to unlock maximum flow and enjoyment during extended downwind passages. The advanced double‑skin construction ensures stable profile integrity, a wide wind range and top‑level performance – ideal for long distances and high speeds.
Thanks to the optimized bridle geometry, the parawing can be collapsed in a controlled manner via the A‑lines with a single hand movement and easily stowed on the water.
To fully unlock its performance potential, it is recommended to choose a larger parawing than with a single‑skin setup. For longer sessions and maximum flexibility, a second parawing can be carried in the parawing backpack. Use in combination with the ESCAPE Harness or other harness systems is recommended to distribute loads efficiently, reduce fatigue and maintain control during long up‑ and downwind runs.
The ZAP doesn’t fit into a single category: parawinging, winging, low kiting or foil racing – expand your possibilities, push boundaries and ZAP around.

The wind range chart is to be used as a point of reference. It is based on a rider who weighs around 75kg (165lbs). Actual use will vary depending on your weight, skill level, board size/type and wind conditions on water or land. When choosing a parawing size, always use common sense and repeatedly choose a smaller size if you are not sure, especially when using the kite on land.
