Maximilian Maeder

Max (2006) has a Singaporean mother and a Swiss Father and is as at home on tropical islands as he is in the snowy mountains and in the cities of Asia.  He is committed to rise to the top of the kite racing sport and has built his life and his education around it. Max is fluent in Chinese, English and German, he loves science and philosophy. He is a “foil native”: his first kite with 6 years was a FLYSURFER foil kite and by the age of 11 he already competed in his first hydrofoil pro race. He regards the professional support and innovative drive of the FLYSURFER team the basis of his success.
