The HYBRID is the ingenious fusion of two foil-kite constructions: It combines the depower and stability of a single skin with the water launch ability, control, and handling of a double skin. The sailcloths feature UV-resistant fabrics, airtight coatings, and hydrophobic properties to improve airflow when wet.

The performance tuner is a knot ladder integrated into the C-pulley line to modify the camber of the kite. Moving the Z-Main Line affects the bar forces and performance of the kite. Shortening increases low-end power and steering/holding forces. Lengthening does the opposite, decreasing maximum power, and steering/holding power.

Front Line Safety System

After the activation of the quick-release system, the kite’s power flags out on a single front line attached to the opposite side of its leading edge. When sorting the bridle lines, note that the cross-main line runs to the other side of the leading edge. This is required to ensure minimum pull of the HYBRID kite due to its low aspect ratio.

Wind Range HYBRID

 

The wind range chart is to be used as a point of reference. It is based on a rider who weighs around 75kg (165lbs.) Actual use will vary depending on your weight, skill level, board size/type (twintip or hydrofoil) and wind conditions on water or land. When choosing a kite size, always use common sense and repeatedly choose a smaller size if you are not sure, especially when using the kite on land.

Der HYBRID ist die raffinierte Verschmelzung zweier Foilkite-Konstruktionen: Er kombiniert die Depower und Stabilität eines Single-Skins mit der Wasserstartbarkeit, Kontrolle und dem Handling eines Double-Skins. Der Performance Tuner ist eine Knotenleiter integriert in die C-Pulley Line um die Wölbung des Kites zu beeinflussen. Das Verschieben der Z-Main Line beeinflusst die Barkräfte und Leistung des Kites. Durch das Kürzen erhält man mehr Lowend, Steuer-/Haltekräfte. Das Verlängern bewirkt das Gegenteil, man erhält weniger Backstall, Steuer-/Haltekräfte.

Front Line Safety System

Um den Zug nach der Aktivierung des Sicherheitssystems zu minimieren, weht der Kite an einer Frontleine aus, die an der gegenüberliegenden Seite der Leading Edge festgemacht ist. Beachte beim Sortieren der Waageleinen das die Cross-Main Line an der gegenüberliegenden Seite befestigt ist. Diese wird aufgrund der geringen Streckung zum Auswehen des HYBRID Kites benötigt.

Der Spaßfaktor stand natürlich auf unserer persönlichen Wunschliste und die Liebe zum Hydrofoilen macht diesen Foilkite einzigartig. Wir haben den Kite mit 1200 cm² – 2000 cm² Frontwings in kleinen Wellen getestet und sind absolut von der Performance und dem Drift überzeugt. Wir hatten noch nie so viel Spaß in Bedingungen, in denen man normalerweise Schwierigkeiten hat. Der HYBRID gibt dir das Vertrauen, um über dich hinauszuwachsen.

Unser erklärtes Ziel war es, den Kitesport zugänglicher zu machen. Sicherheit und einfache Handhabung sind die zentralen Anforderungen an den HYBRID. Nach exzessiven Langzeittests mit unseren Partnern, sind wir davon überzeugt, den Einstieg in den Sport revolutioniert zu haben. Der HYBRID ist ein Must-Have für jede Wassersportstation und macht Kiten an Orten möglich, die wir für nicht kitebar hielten.

Der HYBRID ist fehlerverzeihend und kräftesparend zu fliegen sowie kinderleicht zu kontrollieren. Der Single-Skin Bereich ermöglicht es, die Kraftspitzen und den Lift zu drosseln, und verhindert Aufschläge mit hoher Geschwindigkeit. Der Kite driftet extrem gut mit und verfügt über enorme Stabilität in böigem, leichtem wie auch starkem Wind. Die grandiose Kontrolle und das vorhersehbare Flugverhalten machen ihn zum besten Starkwind Foil-Kite in unserem Line-Up.

Die Charakteristik des HYBRID’s ermöglicht einen besonders sicheren und spielerischen Zugang zum Kiten. Das geringe Gewicht und die leichten Barkräfte lassen Kinder ohne Anstrengung den Kite im unteren Windbereich fliegen. Das Low-Lift Konzept und die sofortige Depower verhindern das Wegheben von Beginnern und erzeugt Vertrauen in den Kite. Wind Range HYBRID

Die Tabelle dient nur als grobe Richtlinie. Die Angaben beziehen sich auf einem Fahrer mit einem Gewicht von 75kg. Die richtige Kite-Größe hängt vom eigenen Körpergewicht, Wasser/Land Bedingungen und der Boardgröße sowie Typ (kleines Twintip oder Hydrofoil) extrem ab. Lass dich bei der Wahl der Kitegröße von der eigenen Erfahrung und dem gesunden Verstand leiten. Sollten Zweifel bezüglich der richtigen Kitewahl bestehen, lieber eine Größe kleiner wählen.
