
Daniela Moroz
Daniela Moroz is an American professional kite racer from the San Francisco Bay Area. Growing up with windsurfing parents, she developed a passion for the water and competitive sports from an early age. She learned to kite at 11 and began racing locally at 12, quickly progressing to hydrofoil racing. At just 14, she competed in her first international event, and two years later, she won her first World Championship. Since then, Daniela has established herself as one of the leading athletes in kite racing, combining elite competition with a passion for foiling and high-performance sailing.

Daniela’s career is defined by exceptional consistency and achievement at the highest level of kite racing. She is a 6x Formula Kite World Champion (2016–2022), a 4x US Rolex Yachtswoman of the Year, and a 2x Rolex World Sailor of the Year finalist. Her major international achievements include PanAm Games Gold in 2023, 4th place at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, and 2nd place at the 2025 World Championships. She is also a 4x Open European Champion (2017–2021) and an ANOC World Beach Games Gold Medalist (2019).
